Welcome to...... |
Baker & Company Llamas |
TIMBERWIND'S CABARET |
(Tomollas Tacoma x Timberwind's Charisma) |
DOB: 11-14-02 |
This striking Tacoma daughter possesses all his best qualities: balance, stretch, bone, lustrous fiber and easy temperment. Like so many of her siblings, she was a big winner in the showring, finishing her career just one Grand Champion short of her Halter Championship. But, we couldn't wait any longer to see what she would produce and so we are eagerly awaiting her first cria, sired by Barbarian, in early Spring 2009. |
FANFAIRE |
(Fivestarr x Fabulosa) |
DOB: 7-20-01 |
This stunning, straight, strong, sweet female is one of our favorites. She was a winner in the showring with her presence and fluid movement and she has proved herself to be a great mom as well; her Spring, 2006 cria was an outstanding Tacoma son and she presented us with a stunning suri male, sired by Gerken's No Compromise on the Ridge, in June, 2007. See him in The Winner's Circle! Fanfaire will be bred to Barbarian in Fall, 2008. |
LASKI'S LIZA |
(Laski x Fools Paradise Yum Buns) |
DOB: 5-3-03 |
This statuesque female came dressed to show off in her tuxedo and she has her sire's stretch and bone and her dam's sweetness and strong mothering instincts. Liza finished her show career with 24 ALSA points. She gave us a beautiful Tacoma daughter in 2006 and a magnificent Party Boy son in June, 2007, (check out Hugh Hefner on the "Cria" page; he's already a halter and fiber class winner!). She is bred to Timberwind's Confuscious for a Spring, 2009 cria. |
HLM STEPHANIA |
(Montezuma x Abracadabra Appy) |
DOB: 1-6-02 |
We call her "Sweet Stephie" because she is; we could just as easily call her "Silky Stephie" because she's that as well - and straight and stretchy and a show-stopper in the ring! Her first cria was our outstanding Party Boy son, BCL Playboy; be sure you check him out. She is bred to Barbarian for a Spring 2009 - that will be a "wow" combination!) |
CASHAROSA SILVER SAAGE |
(LW Dundee x LW Maximaa) |
DOB: 5-3-01 |
This is the llama we can always spot among the herd, even in twilight because she has a silvery, almost pale green luster to her fiber. She was bought for our program to bring the large bone, strong conformation and silky fiber that we are breeding for - and she has done it. Her very first cria, in 2005, was a Party Boy son who is an appy with lustrous, kinky fiber, great conformation and, he qualified for Grand Nationals in 2006. Not bad for a first! She presented us with a stunning taupe/silver Tacoma female in October, 2006 ( see Evie on our "Sales" page) and a taupe/cream wild appy male in October, 2007, also by Tacoma and named Johnny-on-the-Spot (see him on the "Crias" page) yet another great show prospect for 2008. Johnny is already winning in halter and fiber classes! |
TIMBERWIND'S KEEPSAKE |
(Tomollas Tacoma x Big Sky's Calliope) |
DOB: 11-20-04) |
Keepsake is a smooth-moving, beautifully conformed girl with crimpy fiber and killer ears!We purchased her from the Kauffman's herd as a two-year old. She finished her show career as a Grand Champion at the Buckeye Regionals and is now on the farm starting her breeding career. She'll hook up with Barbarian in Spring 2008 and that will be a birth we will await with great anticipation - be sure to check back! |
These are just a few of the many gorgeous girls at Baker & Company; we invite you to visit and see the others for yourself or contact us if you're looking for a particularly special female. We're happy to send photos, CDs or videos of any of our llamas. |
FOOL'S PARADISE YUM BUNS |
(El Samson x Tawas Honey Buns) |
DOB: 11-19-99 |
Yummy was born on our farm and is a granddaugher of the great El Fuerte. She has proven herself in the showring and in the breeding pasture. She will stay with us as one of our producers who consistently gives us big, healthy crias with large bone, great balance and straight toplines and because she is simply too sweet and too much fun to part with! She'll pair up with Barbarian in Fall 2008. |
